Project Setup

1. Navigate to Admin > Projects > Create
2. Complete required fields (marked with *):
   • Name
   • Short Name
   • Reference Number Prefix
   • Contract Date
   • Select Companies That Will Participate In This Project
   • Allow Responder Plan Uploads (checkbox)
   • Project Status
   • Project Type

Channel Management

Configure communication channels for each module type:

1. Plan Approval Channels
   • Set Approving Company
   • Set Commenting Companies
   • Set Responding Companies
   • Define Channel identifier
2. FAT Channels
   • Set Approving Company
   • Set Commenting Companies
   • Set Responding Companies
   • Define Channel identifier
3. NCR Channels
   • Set Approving Company
   • Set Commenting Companies
   • Set Responding Companies
   • Define Channel identifier

Response Times Configuration

Set Plan Approval response times:

• Revision Response Time (Days)
• Comment Response Time (Days)
• Comment Urgency Threshold (Days)

Document Type specific overrides:

• Design
• Equipment Selection
• Manufacturer
• Shipyard
• Spec. Clarification
• Technical Agreements

Option to use Business Days calculation

Category Management

Configure project categories with prefixes and module applicability:

• Name
• Prefix
• Applicable modules (Plan, NCR, Inspection, FAT)
• Common categories include:
  • Accommodation (A)
  • Electrical (E)
  • General (G)
  • Hull (H)
  • Hull Piping (PY)
  • Machinery (M)
  • Outfitting (O)
  • Paint (P)
  • Quality Assurance (QA)

Creating New Hulls

1. Navigate to Admin > Hulls > Create
2. Complete required fields (marked with *):
   • Project (select from dropdown)
   • Hull Number
   • Name
   • IMO
   • Owner Name
   • External Reference Number
