Q: How do I add a company to the address book?
A: To save a company for lookups:
- Click "Create a company" link under QUICK LINKS
- Add company name and lookup code
- Choose Consignee or Notify Party as Company Type
- Save
- Enter address details for the company
Q: How do I manage company addresses?
A: After entering the initial company name:
- You'll be presented with another screen for "addresses"
- Click "create" next to addresses
- Add the address lines for the company
- Multiple addresses can be maintained per company
- All addresses will be shown in lookups, regardless of address type
Using Company Lookups
Q: How do I use the company lookup feature in BOLs?
A: When in the B/L entry screen:
- Click the LOOKUP button next to any address party
- Type in part of the company name or the lookup code
- Choose the appropriate company
- The name and address for that party will automatically appear
