Q: How do I find a specific Bill of Lading?
A: You have several options:
- Use the QUICK B/L (ANY VOYAGE) tool on the Home page
- Navigate to the voyage > Docs tab > B/L tab
- Use filters along the left side to find bills for specific shippers or ports
- For Active voyages, use the Docs link in Quick Links next to vessel name
Q: How do I navigate back to previous screens?
A: OceanDocs keeps track of your screen history in the upper left corner of your screen. You can click any of these links to return to previous screens or the home page.
Voyage Views and Access
Q: What are the different voyage views available?
A: After logging in, you'll see three main views:
- Active page: Shows all voyages not yet completed
- Complete page: Shows voyages completed in the last 60 days
- Archive page: Shows voyages older than 60 days
Q: How do I access voyage details?
A: You can:
- Click into the voyage
- Use the Schedule tab for schedules
- Navigate between voyages using the voyage number drop-box
- For Active voyages, use the Docs link in Quick Links next to vessel name
Filtering and Display Options
Q: How do I use system filters?
A: Within the Docs or Bookings tab:
- Use QUICK SEARCH filters on the left
- Filter for specific shipper or port
- Default view shows 10 bookings per page
- Can be changed to show all bookings
Q: How can I view all bills on one page?
A: The B/L tab only shows 10 bookings per page by default. You can change this to show all bookings on the page by adjusting the filter at the top of the screen.
Document Access
Q: How do I upload internal documents?
A: When uploading documents in the Voyage Details tab:
- Choose INTERNAL if the document should only be viewed by carrier company and your agency office
- Documents can be related to entire voyage or single port
Q: What booking reports are available?
A: Bookings can be:
- Sorted by load port, discharge port, or booking number
- Accessed via the Booking tab
- Printed using available report options
